DESIGNER

Born and raised in NYC, Wendy Feller began designing clothing in 1986. Deciding she would rather knit sweaters than design buildings, she dropped out of Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture to create her first collection, "Wendy Feller Knitwear". The collection was quickly picked up by Henri Bendel which inspired her to continue knitting and designing patterns. Over the next seven years, Wendy's distinctive sweaters sold to over five hundred boutiques in addition to prestigious department stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys New York, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

With her eponymous FELLER brand, she continues to explore her love of design in Seattle. In response to the unpredictably drizzly environment, she has created an outerwear collection she hopes will resonate with other women who have like-minded needs and style. Wendy lives with her husband, two children, amazon parrot, rescue macaw, cockatiel, and briard. When she's not designing clothing and inventing products, she can be found walking with her family and dog in the rain.
